This towel features Roxy and Kalihi, two remarkable female tiger sharks frequently seen on One Ocean Diving trips. Roxy, also known as Nani (“beautiful” in Hawaiian), is recognized by her broken lower right jaw, which occurred after becoming entangled on a line, rope, or chain. She can also be identified by deep scarring behind her right gills, and a distinctively cropped tail fin. Kalihi, also called Snickers (“edge” in Hawaiian), is a 16-foot tiger shark known for her curiosity, a C-shaped notch in her dorsal fin, a bubble-shaped tail, and bite-sized circles on her pectoral watermark. Both sharks remind us of the importance of protecting these incredible predators. 15% of proceeds are donated to conservation groups Protecting sharks like Roxy and Kalihi.
